For centuries, women were taught to shrink in society. To be agreeable, quiet, soft and easy to control. To silence the word no before it ever reached their lips. Obedience slowly became synonymous with femininity. Meanwhile, anger, power, and sovereignty made a woman dangerous, so those parts were pushed into the shadows.

There is a version of you that learned very early how to be agreeable.

To be liked. To not take up too much space. To soften your voice before it could become too sharp.

Or to justify and overexplain your nos shyly.

Over time, this became your default normal identity.

But the good girl is tired. Tired of pretending. Tired of swallowing her anger.

The martyr is tired. Tired of overextending.

They are done with performative niceness, done saving everyone but themselves, done saying yes to what drains them.

Done with being the one who holds, supports, adapts, and understands. The one who keeps the peace.

The woman leader archetype is tired of being called "bossy".

Done with shrinking, done with diminishing, done being ashamed for being called “too much”.

The witch, oracle or intuitive one, is tired of being called crazy because people can't understand her gifts.

Women everywhere are tired of playing small inside systems that were never built to hold the fullness of their power.

And yet beneath that, something else has always been present.

A quiet resistance. A tension, a fire.

You feel it when you say yes and mean no. You feel it when your boundaries are crossed.
You feel it when you shrink to stay loved.

The good girl, the martyr, the afraid to stand in her power, the afraid to take up too much space, the afraid to say no parts are all masks- adaptive strategies in dysfunctional systems.

This initiation is where these masks drop and sovereignty awakens.
