about the founder
Some journeys begin with a plan. Others begin by following the fire within.
My journey began with an obsession for Ancient Egypt. As a child, I was fascinated by the myths, the mystery, the gods⦠it magnetised me. Later on, I did intuitively what I now recognise as early, untrained energy work: what some would label as witchcraft or shamanism. Without guidance or knowledge (I didnāt have a smartphone, books of that nature, or the internet at my disposal), and since my parents were muggles, I did empirical experiments. That is how I first learned⦠until one incident.
Playing with energy and unseen forces as a child, without training or knowledge, can open portals you donāt yet know how to close or manage. I learned that the hard way. I entered the underworld before age 10.
I found myself between worlds: tuning into frequencies, witnessing the shadowy underworld, and confronting energies that few dare to imagine. At first, I thought it was cool, but after about a week, I got scared because I didnāt know how to get out of it. What began as curiosity turned into fear, prompting me to retreat and focus on the tangible: career, money, and design, embracing a sort of soft atheism. Life felt a bit empty but safe. I moved countries at 19, becoming a designer and artist, trying to silence the spiritual inner calling. Yet, the emptiness lingered, a reminder that my soulās spiritual calling was only paused, never lost.
Over the years, the pull of the unseen led me into different traditions and disciplines: from psychological frameworks to witchcraft, shamanic practices, yoga, meditation, tarot & archetypal wisdom. A defining moment in that journey came through my time studying with a shaman from Cape Verde, through whom I was reconnected to nature, psychic sensibility & heart and introduced to shamanism. This was a return to my earlier, interrupted spiritual journey. I promised myself that I would only dive deeper with a mentorās guidance. And the universe delivered. Even the way we met was something out of a movie script. We made eye contact in a shop; he looked so different from everyone else I have ever seen. As I started walking toward him, overthinking how to approach, he calmly looked at me and said, āHi, Iām Cosmos, Iāve been expecting youā. What followed was months of beautiful spiritual initiation, heart, psychic gifts & Earth reconnection, some plant medicine, and daily remembrance. That experience grounded what had once been intuitive curiosity into something far more structured: a path of discipline, respect, and conscious practice. later on I was initiated in Munay Ki shamanism.
I began working with archetypes first through tarot & Carl Jung's work and later through Sekhmet. She called me through synchronicity, imagery, claircognisance & clairsentience What began as a intuitive pull slowly revealed itself as a deeper archetypal relationship, one connected to themes of empowerment, sovereignty, justice, healing and protection. She was the first deity that I started working with.
My past life memories point to me being in at least one life, part of Sekhmetās lineage. She was invoked in Ancient Egypt by the healers & priests (for healing) and the Pharaohs (for power).
Fast forward to today, through years of study, observation and practice, it became increasingly clear that many women today are not lacking power or intuition. Instead, they have been conditioned to disconnect from them: taught to soften their truth, to shrink, to numb, to diminish their instincts, and carry responsibilities that were never truly theirs, denying their natural wisdom housed within their bodies, womb & intuition. I used to be one of them. That is why Sekhmet came to me.

the vision
House of Hekara was created in response to this. Hekara represents the fusion of Heka (ancient Egyptian magic) and Ra (divine solar consciousness of all life) as a structured temple of initiation. A space dedicated to women with some chambers that are open to all, where they can step into deeper layers of self, remembering how amazing they can be. A place of healing through integration, empowerment, remembrance & responsibility.
